Poland is a Central European country which GDP ratio places it on the list of 25 most prominent economies of the world. It is also the sixth-largest economy in the European Union which is expected to constantly grow up through upcoming years. However, aside from good news, well presented statistics don’t provide each citizen in Poland with high standard of living.
The cost of living in Poland varies
depending on the place. It is reported that living in the cities like Wrocław, Warszawa or
Kraków could swallow up extremely large amount of money concerning rent, bills
and shop prices which are higher in regards to smaller cities. Sometimes it’s
hard for middle and working classes to stay in the city while costs of living
take most of salaries which are lower compared to some of neighboring
countries. At the same time they might be to low to cover expensive goods like
cars and in some parts of the country there are people forced to buy used ones.
When it comes to purchasing electronic devices taking out a loan is often
necessary. What is more, the problem of unemployment in Poland also
exists and its rate differs depending on the region which in general is about
7.8% in recent years.
To sum up, the prudence is needed to have
quite a decent standard of living in Poland.
